A Pop-Up Museum Celebrating El Sereno’s Then and Now

The El Sereno Children’s Museum is a community-driven initiative celebrating the history, culture, and creativity of El Sereno. This pop-up museum will provide a welcoming space for young children and teens to explore and connect through interactive exhibits, workshops, and engaging programming.

Our Mission

To foster learning, creativity, and community by:

  • Showcasing El Sereno’s rich history and culture through dynamic exhibits.

  • Providing engaging, accessible programming for young children and teens.

  • Empowering the next generation with opportunities for skill-building and connection.

Our Starting Point

We’ve secured a three-month free lease at Huntington Drive and Eastern Avenue as our launchpad. The pop-up will run from February through March 2025, offering the community a vibrant cultural experience.

Our long-term vision is to extend the museum’s presence and inspire future pop-up exhibits across El Sereno, creating opportunities to engage with different neighborhoods.

What We’re Offering

  • A dedicated team of artists, educators, and historians passionate about El Sereno.
